Moving on! For the 5th project in Surface Research, we had to do some quick research on some more modern artists. Of the ones in a list we had to choose one or two to emulate for our next piece. I chose Takashi Murakami (link!) and Jeff Soto (link!). I absolutely love their work! So for my take on it, I decided to utilize how different their styles were as well as the fact that Soto sometimes connected 2 pieces together. Eventually my ideas flowed into this concept of having 2 separate pieces that overlap and create its own piece.

In our third assignment from Surface Research we had to use our 1st piece in some sort of digital image. As someone with experience with Photoshop, this was no problem for me :) I just really disliked having to print it, as it came out really badly. Also this is resized because file size limits.

First art post! I shall slowly be filling this with more art things. So this was our very first assignment in Surface Research - fill this paper with 30000 marks. That was it. All of us had totally different subject matter in mind for our piece and it was pretty cool. My theme here was sundials if it wasn’t too obvious.

GENERICNESS

So here is the first blog post for my art blog. In this blog I’ll be posting artwork from school and possibly some other random things that I think is cool. Hold tight because I’ll get to making this in a lil bit.
